Apple has very quietly upgraded the MacBook Pro line with faster CPU and other configuration options like HDD. We carried several rumors over the last weeks that Apple is releasing late-2011 MacBook Pros. The prices stay the same and Apple is not even adding a New sticker to the MacBook Pro product category on the Apple Store.
The differences are also really just marginal. Faster CPU speeds, larger HDD sizes and in some cases new GPU options. Either way it is save now to order a new MacBook Pro.
The MacBook Pro line starts at $1,199 and is Apple's only laptop line now with a built-in drive. I still wonder if Apple will bring the MacBook again or not.
