To provide shoppers with a jumpstart on Black Friday deals, Target stores will open at midnight, which is earlier than ever, on Friday, Nov. 25. Target also will implement a new door policy on Black Friday. Every 15-20s only 30 shoppers get through the door.

“The holidays bring hectic schedules and tight budgets, so extending store hours and offering lots of additional ways to save makes Target a great choice for affordable, one-stop holiday shopping,” said Tina Schiel, executive vice president, stores, Target.
The new Target Black Friday early opening almost matches Walmart's Black Friday Sale. Walmart is not closing at all between Thanksgiving and Black Friday. This is likely the best way to control crowds.
