Target does not call this a Black Friday deal, but it is.

As reported on Friday, retailers seem to be reluctant this year to start theming sales with Black Friday early. Last year the last weekend in October was already the launch time for several Black Friday sales. This year we only know of one sale that calls itself a Black Friday sale. I was just checking out the new Target weekly ad and wow, Target is selling the 16GB iPad 2 Wi-Fi for $499.99 with a free $40 Gift Card. I have not seen a better iPad 2 deal so far this year. Walmart is the closest I know with giving you a measly $5 VUDU credit with iPad 2 purchase. The best iPad deal during last year's Black Friday saved you $41.

The Target iPad 2 deal is only available in stores. Quantities are limited. The new Target weekly ad is valid starting today. So hit the mall now, if you plan on buying an iPad 2.

Walmart beats Target iPad 2 deal with $499 16GB iPad with free $50 iTunes Gift Card offer.

Besides the iPad 2, Target offers a the 32GB iPod touch with a $20 gift card and and the iPod nano with a free $15 gift card. These deals are all Black Friday 2011 material.

We will again provide you with complete coverage of Black Friday including buying guides, deal analyses, Black Friday Ads and more in our Black Friday Hub. New this year is our new site Black Friday Countdown. Black Friday Countdown counts down to Black Friday 2011 with exclusive predictions, rumors, deals, news and ads. We also have one more thing coming for Black Friday that will make your Black Friday shopping much easier and more efficient. We will launch this new Black Friday shopping service very soon!
