Earlier I featured what looked to be an awesome iPad 2 deal from Target. Target offers the iPad 2 with a free $40 gift card. Well, I just browsed the new Walmart weekly ad and there the 16GB iPad 2 is featured with a free $50 iTunes gift card. The best iPad deal i know of was the $41 discount Apple offered on Black Friday 2010. To get a $50 iTunes gift card with an iPad purchase is toping this deal.
Last year during Black Friday, the original iPad was in short supply. This year the supply of iPad 2 tablets is in great shape and retailers are starting to offer hot gift card bundle deals. I am not sure though how high the gift cards will go on Black Friday 2011. If Walmart is already handing out $50 gift cards, does this mean a free $100 gift card with iPad 2 purchase is possible on Black Friday? I absolutely think so, but not on the 16GB iPad 2. I think that an 32GB iPad 2 with free $100 gift card is very likely now.
For now I do not see the iPad 2 $50 iTunes Gift Card deal available online at Walmart.com. You need to head to a Walmart Store to get it. Valid until November 5.
