Apple is supposed to completely overhaul its product lines in 2012 says a report on Digitimes. It does not sound that unreasonable that Apple is actually doing that. They update almost each product each year. I expect Apple to release the iPhone 5, iPad 3 and new Macbooks in 2012.
Digitimes has another rumor report up today about the iPad 3. According to the report we would see two new iPad releases in 2012. In Spring we would get an iPad 2S and in Fall the actual iPad 3. The iPad 2S would be slimmer and offer a longer battery life. I do not think this iPad 2S is going to happen. Nobody needs it. The iPad 2 is fine right now as the Android camp is not getting close. The next iPad needs to be a major step with Retina display and faster CPU.
More iPad 3 Rumors.
