One deal Best Buy goes head to head with Walmart is on a 42-inch 1080p TV deals. Walmart will offer tomorrow the Sanyo DP42840 42-inch 1080p 60Hz HDTV for $398. Best Buy is offering right now the Dynex DX-42E250A12 1080p 60Hz LED HDTV for $399.99. The price is basically the same, but which TV is better?
Looking at the specifications the Dynex does have an LED panel, but only a contrast ratio of 2,500:1 and a brightness of 300cd/m2. The Walmart Sanyo TV has no LED panel but states a higher contrast ratio of 4,000:1. The Sanyo TV has with 3 HDMI ports one more than the Dynex and a built-in ATSC/Clear QAM digital/NTSC analog tuner. The Sanyo brand is also considered to be better than Dynex. In this case I would pick the Walmart 1080p HDTV early Black Friday Deal.
Best Buy has though the with the $199.99 eMachines the cheapest laptop so far this first Black Friday sales weekend.
