$149.99 HP TouchPad on Sale for HP webOS Developers

HP still has firesale priced TouchPads, but only for webOS developers.

HP announced a couple days ago that they will not sell any more $99 or $149 HP TouchPads to consumers despite having promised that. Now HP is offering registered HP webOS developers to purchase up to two 32GB HP TouchPads priced at $149.99. Developers need to request coupons for the TouchPad by November 18. More details on the Palm developer site. Via HackerNews.

Yesterday TigerDirect has sold a 32GB HP TouchPad Bundle that sold out within an hour. As suspected retailers have been hoarding TouchPads for Black Friday Sales promotions. I expect more TouchPad deals to popup during the Black Friday sales season or maybe even on the actual Black Friday.

In terms of bargain tablets I favor though the soon to be released Kindle Fire. The Kindle Fire is only a 7-inch Tablet, but it is focused on the essential task you want to do on a tablet for a low price of $199. If you want full powered tablet, there is only the iPad 2 starting at $499.

Black Friday 2011 is off the an incredible start with Black Friday deals like a $199.99 32-inch Westinghouse HDTV. We will again provide you with complete coverage of Black Friday including buying guides, deal analyses, Black Friday Ads and more in our Black Friday Hub.
