If you are the sort that is prone to lose things that are important to you, you might want to check this out. The new BiKN for iPhone from Treehouse Labs has been officially announced. The product is a 2012 CES Innovations Award winner.
The system has three parts including a case for the iPhone, a tag for your stuff, and an app. The radio-enabled case slips on the phone and then the tag clips onto anything you want to track from a bag to a kid or car. The tag can connect with the smartphone even if it is turned off or the phone is in sleep mode.
The case comes in black or white colors and plugs into the 30-pin connector on the bottom of the phone. The app and case can track up to eight different tags at once so more tags can be used to find items that you want to track. The BiKN device will launch in December and the pricing is unknown for now.
