The Wall Street Journal reports that Sony is, according to their sources, working on a smartphone downloading and playing games and other new portable devices to compete with the Apple iPhone and iPad.
Speculations about an Playstation Phone have been around since a while.
When Sony released the original PSP I was very impressed and also got one right away. The new PSP Go was a little disappointment. I hope Sony is surprising us with some real innovative and stylish devices in 2010.
Of course Sony needs to also improve the Playstation Network again to offer up a complete spectrum of music, movies, apps, games and books as the Apple iTunes store does.
