Today I am going to check out the cute little Desk Pets Tankbot. This little RC toy has several modes of play that you or your kids will enjoy. Read on for all of the details on the Desk Pets Tankbot.
The Desk Pets Tankbot has three modes of play with two automated modes and a mode that allows control via a smartphone app. The Tankbot comes in four colors including orange, green, blue, and grey colors. The app will work with iOS and some Android devices.
I have had several toys from Desk Pets over the years and they are always fun and interesting little things. The latest to cross my desk from the company is the Desk Pets Tankbot. The Tankbot is different from some of the other toys I have had from the company in the three modes it has.
One of the coolest modes for this toy is the automated mode where it will travel around your room avoiding obstacles. Its little sensors are always on the lookout for things it might crash into and it responds quickly. You can step in front of the bot and it will stop turn around, and go on about its business.
The name Tankbot comes from the tank treads that the toy has for motivation. The little ribbed treads bet good traction and will push the toy on tile with large crevices, uneven floors, and carpet. I wouldn't use the thing outside since it's not water resistant. It's not exactly fast with a slow pace that it takes. The Desk Pets Tankbot in app control mode is easy to control with forward, reverse, and front and back modes. It's very cool and fun to play with. The little toys sell for $19.99 each and work just as advertised.
The Desk Pets Tankbot is a cool and fun toy that will make a great little stocking stuffer.
