Apple just released the first iOS 5 update. The iOS 5.0.1 is supposed to fix the battery issues iPhone 4S users are experiences on different levels. Most experienced shorter battery life than advertised. Some users reported that the battery just drained itself within the hour and that the iPhone 4S got really hot in the process.
The iOS 5.0.1 update contains improvements and other bug fixes including:
• Fixes bugs affecting battery life
• Adds Multitasking Gestures for original iPad
• Resolves bugs with Documents in the Cloud
• Improves voice recognition for Australian users using dictation
