With 2011 almost over its time for the rumors to start swirling about the big tech shows around the world early next year. We have already heard a few CES rumors floating around and now a rumor of a new product turning up at mobile World congress has surfaced. According to the rumor, HTC has a new tablet PC coming at MWC.
Tablet PC means that the device will be running Windows and this rumor points to the coming Windows 8 flavor not running things. The Windows 8 OS isn't expected to turn up until Q3 2012. The tip comes by way of DigiTimes via a Chinese paper called Commercial Times.
There is no way to know if this rumor is accurate or not. I have also heard that a Tegra 3 Android tablet will be coming in the same time frame. The same Chinese paper says that HTC will be showing off a new smartphone that uses that Tegra 3 quad core chip at MWC 2012 as well.
