Maingear has been making gaming PCs for a long time now. Today the company has unveiled its latest gaming PC option with the availability of a new Intel processor with lots of power and performance. The processor that is now available in the Shift, F131, and Quantum Shift is the Intel Core i7-3960 Extreme Edition CPU.
This is the new Intel processor and the processor can be overclocked to 5.2GHz. The processor will be offered as an upgrade to custom configured PCs and as a processor inside pre-configured PCs as well. The machines using that processor can also use quad channel RAM.
Other features of the machine include Maingear's exclusive Epic Audio Engine. The new processor is appropriate for gamers and content creators with a 14% increase in 3D rendering and a lot more. The price of computers using the new CPU is not offered.
