Here is a reason to line-up in front of a Best Buy Store on Black Friday, November 25. Best Buy opens already Midnight this year, so you do not have to camp out. Best Buy advertises on the first page of the Best Buy Black Friday Ad an 42-inch Sharp LC-42SV94U 1080p HDTV for $199.99. A 42-inch full HD TV under $200 is unheard of and no other retailer will be beating this price on Black Friday 2011. Walmart and Target offer each a 40-inch 1080p HDTV but at higher prices of $248 and $265 respectively.
A rock bottom price is of course not reason enough to get this Black Friday TV deal. Best Buy is though not kidding around and offers with Sharp a recognized consumer electronics leader. The Sharp LC-42SV94U is also not short of good specifications. Features of the LC-42SV94U include 15,000:1 contrast ratio, 176 degrees field of view, 4 HDMI ports, ATSC/NTSC/QAM tuners, PC input, USB port, HD component port, Composite video port, 10W + 10W audio system and 58W power consumption. Sharp is not specifying the refresh rate of the LC-42SV94U, but it is save to assume that is only 60Hz.
Getting 4 HDMI ports in a bargain HDTV is great. The only caveat of the Sharp LC-42SV94U is the somewhat low dynamic contrast ratio of 15,000:1. Do not expect the clarity and brightness offered by today's LED backlit TVs. At $199.99 the Sharp LC-42SV94U is though to over the top second TV for the bed room. This Black Friday deal is I4U approved.
There will be a minimum of 10 of these TVs per store says Best Buy. Read this guide on how to get the Best Buy Doorbuster deals.
