Based on the advertised deals in Black Friday 2011 Ads, we think that Best Buy is the best Black Friday store of 2011 closely followed by Walmart. Like in Best Buy's case the really good Black Friday deals are limited doorbuster deals. We already published the guide: How to Get the Best Buy Black Friday Doorbuster Deals, now we take a look on how you can get them at Walmart Stores.
To start read the Walmart Black Friday 2011 and discover our Walmart Black Friday deal highlights. Once you know what Walmart Black Friday doorbuster deals you want you need to pay attention to the times the deals are available. The Walmart Black Friday 2011 Sale has three times that release new sets of deals starting at 10pm Thanksgiving Day. The highlight of the 10pm Sale is the $199 Xbox 360 4GB with Kinect and Free $50 Gift Card. Most electronics deals go on sale at 12:01am (midnight) on Black Friday. At 8am on Black Friday another wave of Walmart doorbuster deals get released including the $998 60-inch Sharp HDTV.
Before all that try to score your selected Walmart Black Friday deals in the online sale starting at midnight on Thanksgiving Day on Walmart.com. This would be the easiest way to get a hot Walmart Black Friday 2011 deal. Walmart will though not make all advertised deals available online. Walmart has already unveiled a set of specific online Black Friday deals in their ad, but I expect them to also offer a selection of other advertised deals online on Thanksgiving Day.
Back to the Walmart Black Friday Sale in stores. The Walmart Store is open all night from Thanksgiving Day to Black Friday. So there will be no line outside of Walmart stores. Walmart employees are setting up at some point the sales points for each doorbuster deal. Walmart is offering Black Friday Store Maps online which you should definitely download and bring with you to your local Walmart Store. Hang out in the near of the locations where the special items will be setup.
Walmart is handing out tickets for high demand doorbuster items as early as Thanksgiving Day morning. There are many customer reports about that. This seems to be practice that not all stores do and not for all deals. They basically do not want tons of customers hanging out at one place waiting for a doorbuster deal to go on sale all day so they hand out tickets. Other deals just go on sale as soon as a clerk opens the palette.
This practice makes it very difficult to gauge when you should arrive at a Walmart Store for the deals you want. Ideally you pay a visit to your local Walmart store and strike up a friendly conversation with a sales person about Black Friday and what they suggest.
I suggest you do your online Walmart Black Friday shopping midnight Thanksgiving Day. Then take a nap and visit your local Walmart Store after Breakfast to check the situation and if they hand out tickets.
Because the Walmart Doorbuster deals are in different locations throughout the store, it is best to bring a team of people to get all the deals you want. You know, divide and conquer.
In general prepare for huge crowds at Walmart Black Friday Sale. It could get messy. Make sure the deals you want are worth it by comparing and researching them now. Use our Black Friday Deals Guides and our Black Friday 2011 Ad Master List.
