As far back as I can remember I have been watching the holiday special A Charlie Brown Christmas. I watched it as a kid with my parents and I watched it each year, as I got older as well. That was how I knew Christmas was near as a kid because the special came on. I watch the special with my kids too.
Somewhere around here, we own the pop-up book that my daughter bought at the school book fair. She read the book until she wore the tabs out pulling them too much. If you have kids or just like the holiday classic yourself, A Charlie Brown Christmas app has hit the iPad and Android Market.
The app is sort of like a digital pop-up book with some extra games and finger painting action. As the user plays the mini games, Mashable says that you can unlock new decorations for your tree in the app. You can read the digital book and play music form the cartoon as well. This sounds pretty cool for $6.99 and is the perfect way to get your kids into the Christmas spirit.
