One of the things I hate most about online games is that not everyone plays by the same rules. Such was the case in the new smash hit Modern Warfare 3 game that launched not to long ago to hundreds of millions in sales. A bunch of gamers found glitches in the online game and used those glitches to beat the opposing players.
Infinity Ward has issued 1,600 bans from the multiple payer game and says that more players on the console and PC version will be banned if they continue to cheat. The game firm wants players to continue to turn in cheaters that are using glitches to get ahead.
Infinity Ward also said that patches for the console and PC versions of the game would be coming soon. These patches will fix the glitches that are being abused. A hotfix is also coming for the PC version of the game.
