Apple has published a page on the Apple Store announcing the Apple Black Friday Sale. The page is propagating right now starting in Australia to the United States. The page only reveals that there will be amazing iPad, iPod and Mac gifts. Apple does not release a traditional Black Friday Ad, but announces the Black Friday deal details on the Apple Store very likely on Tuesday. This is what happened last year.
Update:
Apple should have better revealed the Black Friday 2011 deals on Tuesday. Now an Apple Black Friday 2011 Ad has leaked uncovering all deals.
As reported we have already confirmed that the Apple Black Friday 2011 Sale will launch midnight on Black Friday at the Apple Store online.
The Apple Black Friday Sale will be one of the last online Black Friday sales to start as most major online Black Friday events already kick off midnight Thanksgiving Day. Apple's strategy of keeping a tight leash on pricing makes 10% discounts a huge deal. Right now Best Buy offers such a "huge deal" with a MacBook Air deal saving $200 (15%). Such deals are few and far between. That is why the Apple Store gets away with offering some small discounts on Black Friday and still drive dramatic sales.
Best Buy will also offer all Apple iPad 2 tablets $45 off on Black Friday. I have a feeling that Apple will match this deal.
To set your expectations review the Apple Black Friday 2010 deals. Apple offered a $41 discount on the iPad line, a $101 discount on the $1,299 MacBook Air, $21 off on the iPod touch and $11 off on the iPod nano. The only good deals have been the iPad and the MacBook Air deals. iPod deals and also MacBook deals have been better from other retailers (best Apple Black Friday Deals 2010).
