Neither T-Mobile nor HTC has announced a launch date for the pending HD2 phone, but it looks like mobile video service MobiTV may have. According to PC Mag, the company happened to mention that the handset is due out on the 23rd.
A link to the specific Tweet on MobiTV's Twitter account now shows an error message, but multiple reports on the Web appear to confirm that the company made a passing reference to the HD2's release date as March 23rd.
The HD2 will come packed with Windows Mobile 6.5, a 1-GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, and multi-touch functionality. It has a 4.3-inch screen and HTC's innovative TouchFlo 3D interface.
A previous rumor suggested that the phone will be released on March 24th. So now it's anyone's guess as to when this little device will actually hit the shelves at T-Mobile stores.
