I have been talking a lot about the Kindle Fire tablet the last week or so. That tablet isn’t for everybody. If what you really want, is just a nice eReader with a screen that is easy to read you might want to check out the Kindle Touch. This eReader is a touchscreen model that is only selling for $99 with offers. The same tablet with no ads will cost you $139.
The tablet is shipping right now and you can have it by Monday if you order in the next several hours. The tablet screen is a 6-inch E ink unit that has no glare when used outside. It has WiFi only so you will need a wireless network to use the tablet.
The tablet has enough storage for up to 3,000 books. The battery is good for up to two months per charge and it weighs 7.5 ounces. The reader has a text-to-speech to read the books to you. It also has a new feature called X-Ray that will tell you more about the characters and phrases in books.
