Buy.com reports record sales for Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday.
Buy.com today reported sales over the last two days grew by double digits year-over-year. A major driver of the retailers's overall sales growth was Buy.com's marketplace, which includes more than 4,000 top-tier retailers. Buy.com offers more than 11 million unique products and special holiday discounts on products ranging from tablets to cookware and more. This rise in Buy.com sales fits to the results of an IBM's study that said that there was a dramatic rise in online sales on Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday compared to last year.

"Our initial holiday results point to a strong start of the season, as consumers responded favorably to our expanded selection of products and our newest initiatives we put in place to create an even more wallet-friendly shopping experience."
Buy.com was just a few years ago a consumer electronics focused retailer. Now they are market place powerhouse. This actually fits better to the awesome domain name. Buy.com launched in 1997 and is headquartered in Aliso Viejo, California. Buy.com is owned by Rakuten, Japan's leading Internet Company.
