Black Friday 2011 sets Sales Record

Black Friday 2011 has set new online and store sales records according to the first analyst reports.

Black Friday 2011 is just over since a couple of hours, but we already have several analyst reports about the Black Friday 2011 sales numbers. As reported earlier, online sale on Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday rose dramatically compared to last year according to IBM. Their analysis says that there was a 39.3% increase in online Thanksgiving Day spending and a 24.3 % online growth on Black Friday compared to the same period last year.

CNN Money reports now that ShopperTrak, an analyst firm that counts foot traffic in stores says that retail sales on Black Friday rose 6.6%. This is the largest increase since 5 years. I think it is a save bet that Cyber Monday 2011 will also be record breaking.

Black Friday 2011 is over, but the Black Friday Deals are still here. Welcome to the Thanksgiving Sales Weekend. Today is Black Saturday and also Small Business Saturday.  Follow us on Twitter to not miss any Black Friday 2011 Deals. See also the latest Cyber Monday 2011 Ads and Deals.
