Update 2012:
Cyber Monday 2012 deals are not revealed yet. Thanksgiving Day is though the new Cyber Monday. Make sure to shop online on Thanksgiving Day. The deals are better than on Cyber Monday.
Several major retailers have turned Cyber Monday into Cyber Sunday. Several Sales are already live since the early morning hours of Sunday. Cyber Monday is the first work day after the Thanksgiving weekend. The term Cyber Monday, which was created by Shop.org (part of the National Retail Federation) made it into the retailer marketing strategies back in November of 2005. Shop.org got the idea of Cyber Monday from the behavior of shoppers to buy online the first day back at work after the long Thanksgiving weekend. This year this origin of Cyber Monday gets distorted again as most retailers actually are now launching their Cyber Monday 2011 Sales already on Sunday. A trend that started last year.
As most Cyber Monday sales are already available today, Cyber Monday becomes less important. By not shopping Sunday you run into the risk of missing out on deals as they sell-out already today. The good news is that not all retailers offer their Cyber Monday earlier. They wait for the calendar show November 28. Some stores launch midnight and others in the morning. Below we list the major Cyber Monday sales available now and the ones that are still upcoming.
