Acer has announced that it has a couple new products coming to market soon. The new gear is a 3D display for computer users and a 3D projector for the home theater crowd. The display is the HR274H display that has an interesting chip-based solution for converting 2D video to 3D on the fly. This solution needs no software for conversion.

The display has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 and is a 27-inch screen. It has a HDMI connection and uses passive 3D glasses with one set included. The display is available in the US now for $599. The other product is a projector called the H9500BD and it is a home theater projector supporting the latest 3D tech and using active 3D shutter glasses.

It has a full 1080p resolution and can throw images up to 300-inches. It also does automatic 2D to 3D conversion for content. The projector uses DLP technology and will sell for $1999. These two products sound very interesting for the gamers and movie fans wanting to move to 3D.
