The Nexus One could be moving over to India. TechTree.com reports that they have heard several reports of a "scaled down", wimpier version of the Nexus One. This light-weight Nexus One will be designed for "developing markets", starting with India.
This new device will be thinner than the current Nexus One, but will also be much, much lighter on features. We can probably say goodbye to the AMOLED screen, and definitely to the 1 GHz Snapdragon processor. It'll be a lot cheaper than the current version, with stripped-down internals and a weaker camera.
No hard details for this phone have popped up yet. The big question on my mind; will Google sell this Nexus One online, or will they finally move to physical stores for this launch?
