I have no doubt that there will be tons of gadgets of all sorts at CES 2012 this year. Among that gear will certainly be hoards of Android tablets. According to Toms Hardware there might be as many as 50 new Ultrabooks breaking cover at the show. Intel had predicted a huge market for the Ultrabook, but it hadn't made a big push.
It looks like CES 2012 might be the big kickoff party for the Ultrabook. There may be 50 new Ultrabooks to check out for the first time at the show. That number comes directly from CEA's Shawn DuBravac who said the CEA expects 30 to 50 Ultrabooks.
There is no indication of what firms will be offering the Ultrabooks. I suspect that we can count on seeing Ultrabooks from virtually every manufacturer out there who is big in the notebook market. I hope that out of the machines that debut a bunch of them are the cheap versions since we have seen a bunch of higher end machines already.
