Japanese smartphone fans that are on the NTT DoCoMo network have a new LG 4G LTE smartphone that they can take advantage of if they want. The smartphone has previously launched in Korea and North America and is now in Japan making three of the largest LTE market in the world have access to the device. The phone is Model L-01D.

The smartphone is only offered in Red on the DoCoMo network in Japan. Japanese buyers will also get exclusive features including NFC and 1seg digital TV tuner inside. The phone has 4.5-inch 1280 x 720 resolution screen and has 2.76 million sub pixels giving it a true IPS display. The phone promises good color and image quality along with battery efficiency.

“The Optimus LTE is one of LG’s most promising devices and has already been received well in Korea, Canada and the United States,” said Dr. Jong-seok Park, President and CEO of LG Mobile Communications Company. “As a worldwide innovator in mobile LTE technology, we are committed to developing high-quality devices that showcase our technical experience and True HD IPS display.”
