The fitness gadget word is booming over the last year or so. It seems each time I turn around there is a new gadget for tracking fitness whatnots. A company called Wahoo Fitness is set to toss a new fitness device onto the market called the Blue HR. It is billed as the world's first Bluetooth smart heart rate monitor.
The device will be shown for the first time at CES 2012. It interfaces directly with the iPhone 4S and other Bluetooth Smart Ready devices. It can shoot real time heart rate readings over to the smartphone and with the Wahoo Blue HR and available apps; you can track your workouts. The device is priced at $79.99 and will be in stores in January.
The gadget has been tested with several of the most popular fitness apps on the market already including MapMyFitness, RunKeeper, 321Run, Runmeter, and MotionX . More apps supporting the device will be coming.
