Android Market comes to the geeky watch
I will admit that the little MotoACTV watch is a very cool gadget, even if it's super geeky. The downside to the watch though was that it ran an Android install that prevented it from getting onto the real Android Market to grab the apps you really want. You had to choose from the list of approved apps for the device.
Hackers have fixed that for us with the watch now rooted and given full access to the Android Market. The watch was hacked using the Revolutionary zergRush exploit. This allows the standard Google apps to be installed.
The hack also allows the user to add a launcher of their own choosing. The launcher in the pics is the one from Android 1.8. Things appear to look surprisingly good considering the tiny 1.6-inch screen. I bet it would be hard to see what you were shooting at on Angry Birds.
