YouTube has unveiled a new feature that was made in collaboration with Google Research. The new feature is called YouTube Slam. Slam takes videos from different categories and puts them against each other in a vote to see which video is the best.
YouTube Slam has several categories with cute, comedy, music, bizarre, and dance. The video leader board shows what video is in the lead at any given time. Voters can also guess what video people will like best and vote that on the leaderboards.
This sounds pretty cool and would be a good way to get more traffic in a game style environment for YouTube. You can check out the Slam channels now at YouTube.
