Back in the summer, I was at the car show in Dallas, Texas for the Texas State Fair. I ran across the Hyundai Veloster and while the name is steroid, the car was surprisingly cool. A much cooler versions has now turned up called the Veloster Turbo. The car leaked ahead of its official debut at the Detroit Auto Show this week.
The car will have a 1.6L turbo engine with 203hp that can be mated to a manual gearbox or an automatic. The car promises to get 27mpg in the city and 38mpg on the highway. The car has a nice look and a different interior to set it apart from the standard car.
The seats have more bolstering for support as well. It's not clear what the price of the car or availability will be like. I'd also like to know what sort of torque the car puts out.
