The Super Bowl is the most expensive place for TV ads. Not every company has the guts and the money to run a Super Bowl commercial. This year eight newcomers enter the advertising hell.

The Super Bowl 2012 is taking place on February 5. Last year 111 million Americans watched the Super Bowl, making it the most watched TV event. For advertisers the Super Bowl is the holy grail. The cost for a 30 second spot is at least $3.5 million on NBC this year, but that is not all.
These days a Super Bowl advertisers also needs to make sure that the online social campaign are well coordinated with their Super Bowl ads. To be on the cutting edge you also want apps for tablets and smartphones like GM is offering this year with the Chevy Game Time App.
