The Acura Super Bowl 2012 Ad has not been announced yet, but the New York Times and USA Today are mentioning Acura as one of the first time advertisers in the Super Bowl.
Acura is the luxury car devision of Honda. There will be also a Honda Super Bowl 2012 Ad promoting the new Honda CR-V. What car or cars the Acura Super Bowl 2012 will be featuring is not known yet.
Car Super Bowl ads are dominating the Super Bowl 2012 ad list with about 1/3rd of all 30 second slots. The competition is tough for newcomers like Acura and Lexus. Volkswagen, Audi, Chrysler, Hyundai and Kia have a lot of Super Bowl ad experience. Volkswagen and Chrysler hit the jackpot last year with their amazing and very entertaining Super Bowl Ads that still have a lasting impact.
Acura has raised quite a stir at the Detroit Auto Show 2012 with the awesome Acura NSX Concept. Watch a video of that hot ride below. Let's hope the brand takes some of that NSX coolness into their first Super Bowl ad.
The Super Bowl 2012 is taking place in Indianapolis on February 5th, 2012. Just like last year, I4U News will be featuring again the Super Bowl for Geeks Guide. Of course the Super Bowl 2011 for Geeks Guide will be all about the Super Bowl Commercials and not the game. For even more Super Bowl 2012 Ads coverage visit our new Super Bowl Ads Blog.
