Tweets from Samsung suggest that the first ever Samsung Super Bowl ad will promote the new 5-inch Android smartphone launching in February.
The first Samsung Super Bowl ad is not going to be bashing Apple. We featured a report a couple weeks ago that claimed that Samsung will run a Super Bowl ad from its Galaxy, The Next Big Thing Campaign. This smart campaign is Super Bowl worthy, but new tweets from Samsung Mobile suggest that there will be an entirely different Samsung Super Bowl 2012 ad.

The tweets say that the Samsung Super Bowl commercial will be as noteworthy as the Galaxy Note and will be one of the longest ads in the Super Bowl 2012.
Samsung also revealed that Bobby Farrelly has directed the ad. Bobby Farrelly is known for Me, Myself & Irene and There's Something About Marry.
Bobby Farrelly stands for lough out loud comedy, which means the first Samsung Super Bowl ad should be funny.
The Samsung Galaxy Note launches in the second half of February. A Super Bowl ad for the Galaxy Note makes totally sense. The Galaxy Note is a 5.3-inch Android Smartphone. Watch the current Galaxy Note TV commercial on Super Bowl Ads for Geeks.
