The Volkswagen Super Bowl 2012 Ad just got released in full. It is actually an extended version, which is a very trendy thing to do this year.
Volkswagen already created huge buzz with the teaser video The Bark Side for the actual Volkswagen Super Bowl 2012 commercial titled "The Dog Strikes Back."
It will be interesting to see if Volkswagen can leverage the over 10 million viewers of the teaser for the actual Super Bowl ad featuring the new Beetle.
In the ad, the new 2012 Volkswagen Beetle inspires the Dog named Bolt to get in shape. As reported somehow the Star Wars Cantina is part of the Ad. The way Volkswagen makes that jump from a dog in today's world to Star Wars is through a TV in the Star Wars Cantina. Oh, Darth Vader is also in the new 2012 VW Super Bowl Ad.
The main joke of the 2012 Volkswagen Super Bowl Ad is that this year the dogs are the stars of Super Bowl ads and not Mini Darth Vader from last year. The Force with the "Vader Kid" was in my mind much better than the new 2012 Volkswagen spot.
