The HP Slate is the hottest potential contender for the Apple iPad - at least from its looks. HP Slate will support Flash, which is why Adobe loves the Slate. Flash support could be an interesting aspect in the marketing battle between the Slate and the iPad besides price.
An earlier rumor said that the HP will be cheaper than the iPad. Now a Spanish site (Via Engaget) claims the HP Slate will sell for 400 Euro in Spain. This could mean the Slate sells for $400 in the US.
HP and Microsoft still need to come up with their comprehensive service, apps and content offering for Tablets to mirror the Apple eco system. Let's see how that will play out.
