We've known for a few weeks that Samsung is planning a tablet. This iPad rival is set to launch at SOME point in 2010. Now information has come out that this tablet will run the Android OS (Tweakers via SlashGear).
The fact that this tablet is likely to run Android means that we probably won't see it pack an Intel Atom processor. This slate will have 3G functionality, and there has been talk of 4G functionality as well. Samsung's slate is also said to support voice calls, meaning that it could potentially act as a VOIP phone.
