We already reported that Apple is supposed to release a new Apple TV box soon. 9to5Mac reports now that their sources say that the 2012 Apple TV will launch at the same time as the iPad 3.
The new Apple TV is supposed to support 1080p and runs on a faster CPU. It could support Bluetooth 4.0 and maybe even Siri. If Apps will finally come to the Apple TV is still unknown, but this single capability would kill Smart TVs.
Apple has now officially confirmed that the iPad 3 will be unveiled on March 7. As it looks we not only get a new iPad, but also a new Apple TV in March.
