Specifications

The X-Doria Cubit will fit the iPhone 4S/4 and comes in white or black colors. The white case has orange, green, and blue squares, including extras for you to make your own designs. The black case has red, white, and black squares. The X-Doria Cubitsells for $24.99 and is made from a tough polycarbonate to protec your phone.

In Use

The X-Doria Cubit is a very cool case for your iPhone that leaves all the controls, and camera uncovered. The case is thin enough that you can dock your iPhone with most docking stations without removing the case. It is made from a polycarbonate plastic material that will help it survive mild drops and will help prevent scratches. Certainly, the coolest feature of the case is little plastic squares in blue, green, orange that you can snap to the inside of the case and show on the back.

You can push those little plastic squares in and out very easily allow you to customize the design on the back of your case. The little plastic squares protrude slightly through the back of the case offering more grip and cushioning when you set your device down. My review unit was the white case, and it is very brightly colored with a little squares and is definitely more feminine looking than the black version of the case. That isn't to say that a guy can't carry the white version.

The case is very thin and has minimal bulk. With the case installed on my iPhone 4, I couldn't tell any difference in the weight or the bulk. The design appears to be able to fit the iPhone on Verizon or AT&T without any issues. If you want a case that you can customize and will protect your phone from drops and scratches, the X-Doria Cubit might be just what you need.

Verdict

Pros

  • Easy to install
  • Customizable squares
  • Cheap

Cons

  • The case may not offer ideal protection in the event of a drop

Conclusion

The X-Doria Cubit is a very cool and interesting case for your iPhone 4 or 4S that won't break the bank.
