I'll admit that I find most Mercedes automobiles to be rather boring, with a few notable exceptions such as the SLR. The normal Mercedes AMG C63 Coupe is a nice looking and interesting car on its own. After Brabus gets its hands on the car, it returns with a healthy dose of hellacious mixed in. For instance, the cars potent 6.3 L V8 engine gets replaced with more of everything.
Brabus crams a twin turbo V12 engine under the hood that produces 788 BHP. The torque output those two turbos produce is 1047 LB-FT, which is too much for the tires and we mortal drivers to handle. Therefore, Brabus electronically limits that torque output to a lesser 811 LB-FT. That is still plenty of power to turn a respectful Mercedes coupe into a sideways drifting hooligan.
The car uses an automatic transmission with seven speeds that can be shifted via paddles behind the steering wheel. It can blast to 100 kph in 3.7 seconds and has a top speed of 230 mph. The interior of the cars is tweaked and it appears the car has some external tweaks as well. The car will cost €378,000 or roughly $500,000 in the US.
