Jobs wanted CBS movies and TV content for streaming

CBS CEO Les Moonves announced over the weekend and entertainment symposium in Los Angeles that he had had a meeting with former Apple CEO Steve Jobs last year about CBS providing content for Apple TV pay service. Moonves declined to participate in the Apple program.

"I told Steve, 'You know more than me about 99 percent of things but I know more about the television business,' " Moonves said. Moonves also notes the Jobs vigorously disagreed that providing content for Apple TV a service would cut into CBS's existing revenue streams.
