Walmart has apparently completed the purchase of the Facebook application called Social Calendar . That has been around for a while and allows users to get birthday and holiday reminders sent by e-mail and text message. The app can also send personalized photo cards and other greetings to a friend's Facebook wall on their birthday.
With the purchase of the app, I see things coming such as its change birthday, buy him a video game Walmart.com. I can also see lists of top gifts coming your way at holiday shopping time. I fail to see why someone would need this considering most people are on Facebook multiple times per day and Facebook reminds you of birthdays.
