Western Digital has launched a new external storage drive for Mac users with Thunderbolt ports. The drive is called the My Book Thunderbolt Duo and comes in two versions each with two drives inside. The dual drives allow the storage devices to support RAID, 0, 1, and JBOD.
The drive comes in 4 TB and 6 TB capacities has dual Thunderbolt ports to allow daisy chaining of multiple storage drives or other peripherals. The drive is formatted for Macs and supports Time Machine right out of the box. The 4 TB version sells for $599.99 and the 6 TB version goes for $699.99.
