Windows 8 eReader rumored

Windows 8 will launch in October based on the latest rumors. Besides on PCs, Laptop and Tablets, eReader with Windows 8 might also be among the new Windows 8 devices. Microsoft's COO Kevin Turner said that much at the Microsoft Dynamics 2012 conference according to The Register.

Microsoft plans to offer the Metro UI on the full range of devices we use. This the same strategy Apple is pursuing. This actually brings up the point that Apple is not offering an eReader yet. I could definitely see Apple releasing an iReader in 2012. Apple has the content infrastructure to compete with the Amazon Kindle.
