Aspirin is big in the news today. Aspirin, also known as acetylsalicylic acid, is becoming a cheap super weapon in medicine. A new study by a team of researchers led by Professor Peter Rothwell at the University of Oxford says that Aspirin stops cancer from spreading. This is a huge deal. The question is though if you should now down an Aspirin a day despite having no headache from a hangover? The BBC has a good article on whether to take an Aspirin or not. There are risks like internal bleeding. For healthy adults it most likely makes no sense to down an Aspirin every day.
