Angry Birds Space owns iTunes App Charts for iPhone and iPad

This is not really a surprise. The new Angry Birds Space game launched yesterday is the #1 app for the iPhone and for the iPad on iTunes.

Rovio Entertainment launched Angry Birds Space yesterday for the iPhone, iPad, iPod touch and Android devices, as well as the Mac. PC, with PC retail copies to follow shortly. Angry Birds and Angry Birds HD is now already leading the app charts on iTunes. Angry Birds Space is selling for $0.99 and $2.99 respectively. Rovio is already off to a great start with this new version of Angry Bird. 

Angry Birds Space is also #1 on the Amazon Android Appstore.
