Intel is taking the classmate PC model to the tablet market. According to sources of Digitimes, Intel is pushing a tablet for emerging markets with codename StoryBook. The Intel StoryBook tablet is supposed to be available in the 2nd half of 2012.
The price of the StoryBook tablet is aimed at below $299 in regular sales. Elitegroup Computer Systems (ECS) is expected to manufacture the StoryBook. ECS already makes the Intel Classmate PC.
