Nokia Lumia 900 is only something for Windows Fans say Reviews

If you hoped the new Nokia Lumia 900 LTE Windows Phone would be a challenger to the iPhone 4S or top of the line Android phones you will be disappointed. The pundits have reviewed the Lumia 900 Windows phone, which will go on sale this weekend and they are not impressed.

Walt Mossberg's verdict: "If you’re looking for a $100, high-end smartphone, or are a Windows Phone fan who has been waiting for better hardware, the Lumia 900 is worth considering. But the phone had just too many drawbacks in my tests to best its chief competitors."

Joshua Topolsky loves the hardware design of the Lumia 900, but that is about it. This is not all Nokia's fault. Microsoft is still behind with the Windows Phone OS. The eco system for Windows Phones is also still limited

The TechRepublic is an interesting report that explains why the Lumia 900 is offered for $99.99 on contract. Nokia is not using the latest and greatest hardware components inside the Lumia 900.

About the Geek Mind

The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.

The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
