Google Project Glass promises Us Augmented Reality Google Glasses [Video]

Google revealed more details about their augmented reality glasses.

The Google Glass Project is aimed at making augmented reality eye glasses a mass market product. A video below demonstrates the vision for the Google Glasses. You would be able to see information about what you see and get updates from your smartphone without having to take the phone out. You would get navigation instructions right in front of your eyes. Navigation is a hot feature especially for delivery personnel on bikes and foot.
The Google Glasses are still in a very early stage. Google has now published some information to start the conversation and get consumer input. Sounds to me like this is really just a hobby of some Googlers, but maybe the crowd can make the glasses happen if they/we really want it.

More details on the Google Glass Project page.
