Sony lays off 10,000 amidst a Record $6.4 billion Net Loss

Sony is still not getting back on its feet. First the Japanese electronics maker announced a massive lay-off of 10,000 employees and now the company doubled their forecast for the loss of past year to $6.4 billion.

Sony is now in its forth year of generating loss. The once shiny electronics giant is not getting a grip on how to adjust to the new times where Apple products are the new cutting edge every other electronics maker is trying to reach. To cope with the predicted net loss of $6.4 billion for the year, Sony is laying off 10,000 employees.

Sony's TV business is likely the biggest problem child right now. The new PlayStation Vita's sales are not crazy and who knows if the upcoming PlayStation Orbis will be able thrive.
